ChristianityTest.com is committed to your privacy. This statement explains simply and honestly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we don’t do.
What We Collect
When you take the ChristianityTest, we collect the following information:
- Your quiz scores — Test 1, Test 2, Test 3, and your combined average
- Your rating tier — the category your score falls into
- Optional demographic responses — religion, political leaning, religiosity, church attendance, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship status, age range, and country
All demographic questions are completely optional. You may skip any or all of them.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name
- We do not collect your email address
- We do not store your Google account information beyond what is needed to verify your login and prevent duplicate submissions
- We do not collect your IP address for tracking purposes
- We do not collect any payment information
- We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels
How We Use Your Data
Your quiz results and demographic responses are recorded anonymously and used exclusively for:
- Displaying aggregate statistical results on our public Results Dashboard
- Research and analysis into how different groups score on the teachings of Jesus Christ
- Improving the quality and accuracy of the test over time
Your individual responses are never displayed publicly and are never associated with your identity in any published or shared form.
A Note on Anonymity
Our data collection is designed from the ground up to be anonymous. Because we do not collect any personally identifying information alongside your responses, it is genuinely impossible for us to connect any individual result to any individual person. This is intentional — your answers are yours alone.
Google Login
If you choose to sign in with Google, we use Google’s secure OAuth2 authentication system. This means:
- We never see or store your Google password
- We use your Google account solely to verify that you are a real person and to prevent duplicate submissions
- Your Google identity is not stored in our results database and is not associated with your quiz responses in any published or shared data
Third Party Services
This site uses the following third party services:
- Google OAuth — for secure login authentication
- Google Sheets — for anonymous data storage and analysis
- Google Looker Studio — for displaying aggregate results charts
None of these services receive your personally identifying information in connection with your quiz responses.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies necessary for WordPress to function and to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any third party analytics cookies.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Skip any or all demographic questions at any time
- Know that your identity is never connected to your responses in any published form
- Know that this site does not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way
